Within Add/Remove Programs (Windows) there is nothing listed for AIR.
Under C:\Program Files (or (x86)) there is no specific folder for just AIR.
I can't find anything in the registry with regards to AIR settings or .air associations.
But our SCCM reports are identifying that machines do have AIR on them. When I look at the file path for the 'detected' install/files, it is pointing to files within Adobe Reader's folder. The main one is called 'arh.exe'. When I play around with that exe I can see it is version 3.5.0 but it reports that it is not installed.
I'm just trying to work out whether or not there is an attack vector on our machines. Can AIR applications be launched/run via the files that have come with Adobe Reader? Also, from what I've read on the net, the AIR version packaged with the Adobe Reader install is pretty much 'self contained' and cannot be updated by just downloading the latest version of AIR from the Adobe site. So how do people patch/update AIR where the AIR run time has been packaged with the program itself?
